Some residents in Moline are willing to let hunters install tree stands in their properties. They are fed up with the deer population in their back yards!

Watch out for the deer during dusk and dawn.
Avoid road accidents by checking the road side deer movement.
If a deer is oncoming, steer away from oncoming traffic.

What do you do with the bucks in the backyard??

If you are in Moline, you could hunt it with a crossbow!! Moline recently started allowing crossbow deer hunting within city limits!!

You can retrieve a game you shot from neighbors property by calling the Department of Natural Resources.
Knowing the boundaries is a must for hunters but tracking the shot deer is also part of the hunt.

Sometimes crossbow doesn't kill a deer completely and within city limits, people are getting shocked to see roaming deer stuck with an arrow!

Donate your deer hide to be processed locally. The skin is further cleaned and made into leather jackets for Veterans in medical facilities!
What a great way!

Deer stink a lot and they have a strong nose as well. Deer can smell up to a mile and use their smelling sense to track humans or other deer.

Hunters use special rifles for hunting even if they are outdated. Some favorite guns are kept aside exclusively for buck hunting based on the success of the gun in the past.
